Poncho Vlla aka Hanks Gunsmoke came into our rescue program on August 20, 2017. Poncho Vlla came into our rescue program as an owner surrender along with 3 other horses. Poncho Vlla is a Beautiful, Sorrel, Quarter Horse, Gelding. Poncho Vlla was foaled on June 5, 199 4. He is 23 years of age. Poncho Vlla is a former Barrel Horse, Roping Horse, etc., Poncho spent most of his life doing many different activities. He was known to take care of his riders and he knew instantly who was on his back. He would go from a rodeo horse, to a baby sitter, to a trail horse. Poncho is an all around horse and still has the ability to teach someone. He hasn't been ridden in about a year, but with some tuning up, he could still do some play days. We plan to fully evaluate him under saddle soon ourselves, but I have seen his career and know he is worth his weight in gold. Poncho Vlla is a super sweet boy and loves attention. He stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. We are getting him caught up with Farrier and Medical. We will update soon with his adoption status. Poncho Vlla has been adopted to a wonderful family in Porum, Oklahoma. Poncho Vlla is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are so thrilled that this super special boy found his forever, loving family of his own where he will be showered with love and attention.

We are generally available BY APPOINTMENT Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and generally anytime Friday - Sunday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
